Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I did a public post, but I swear, I have not disappeared.
I'm currently in my A.P. Studio Art class and it occurred to me that I could post my work on here and see what you guys think. It's a multimedia collage and it's been a work in progress for quite a while now. I'm planning on finishing it by the end of next week though and I'm rather excited.

A few notes:
- It's not done
- The Photoshop on this computer seems to exaggerate the contrast, so the images will look a bit dull. I'll have to take the piece home to do the final color touches.
- I will be adding two figures to the beach
- It will be a 18x24in poster as a final, so I have a small image and an image that is zoomed to full size so you can get an idea of the detail

How/What:
- Sketch in photoshop using tablet
- Digital photography for background base images (own photos)
- Went crazy with water colors/ink (very fun day) then scanned and added to piece
- Tons of layer and lots of patience

After looking at these images for a little while, I'M REALLY BUGGED BY THE COLOR. It's so bright in Photoshop, but once it's saved everything goes crazy dull. I'll have to fix that real fast before I have an aneurysm or somthing.

Wow, I'm actually starting to get some very strong angry feelings here. BLERGH. & it's rather blurry, which makes absolutely no sense. The tree is dead clear in Photoshop. I've got to get this work to another computer ASAP.

I'll be sure to post the final, for my own sake I think, because this is just bugging the crap out of me. Anyways, what do you guys think so far? Constructive criticism is so very much appreciated. Go easy on anything having to do with color/contrast/brightness because, trust me, it'll be fixed.

Hey guys! Long time, no post, right? Well, here's about 50 icons before I head off for the summer. Assorted subjects.

 

If I were to potentially make icons, potentially, what should I make icons of?
I'm thinking: Disney, Titanic, Narnia, Skins? 
I've hit a creative block and  I don't know what to icon!!!! Help me!
Give me images or something! I need some creative juices!

A little tribute to my absolute favorite ship of all time. Yes, this is a big deal. Enjoy!



The mix is somewhat posted in a story format. If you're at a complete lost as to how the song connects to Draco, Hermione or D/Hr read the little story segment. However, the little segments jump around like crazy, so please don't expect them to all make sense together. This mix is my illustration of the ship, and I felt that I had to justify it = the only reason for the stories. Also, note, the music is all over the place in this mix. I've got pop, rock, acoustic, alternative, so I hope that everyone will be able to enjoy the mix in some way or another. To summarize: Don't understand the connection? Read the story. :)

ALSO: I strayed away from the SUPER!angst, HOLYSHT!sex and VIOLENT!Draco.

I'm up way too late right now, as it is past midnight, and I have a huge soccer tournament all weekend. Probably not the smartest move on my part. (Anders, if you're reading this, I love you!)

Perhaps I'll go back to posting some public entries more often. I'm going to post my entire graphics portfolio on here as soon as the year ends for sure. But, honestly, I'm not so sure that I'll ever get back into icons. Oh, and while I'm on the topic of design, I may be getting an internship next summer at a local design firm! That means I'll have spent this summer at an art school for design and next summer actually getting some expierence in the feild. How awesome would that be?!
